“I am deeply honoured to have been selected by the CCSF. This award means a great deal to both my academic and professional advancement. It allows me to focus more on my doctoral studies by alleviating some of the financial costs associated with studying in the UK. Professionally, it connects me to a community of Canadians committed to promoting academic excellence and the betterment of our global society. My most sincere thanks to the CCSF and the Maple Leaf Trust for their investments into outstanding Canadian students studying in the UK.” – Tobey Berriault, 2016 CCSF Scholar
How to Support the CCSF
The CCSF is a committee of unpaid volunteers who work closely with the Maple Leaf Trust to ensure funding is available from year to year for a minimum of 16 scholarships, ranging in value up to £5,000. As well as offering general awards, we are happy to be able to offer named scholarships on behalf of our major donors. Past scholars tell us that they feel honoured by being recognised by the Canadian community in the UK!
